Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager is accountable for the direction and administration of all human resource activities, including policy development and implementation, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management and compensation, training and development, benefit programs and record management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, recommend, implement and ensure fair application of all human resource policies, practices and procedures
  • Responsible for employee relations to include implementation of EEO policy and other local and federal labor issues
  • Manage recruitment for all staff, exempt and non-exempt. Analyze department needs and recommend staffing plans. Ensure fair hiring practices and EEO compliance
  • Manage on-boarding, training and development programs for all employees
  • Conduct exit interviews; analyze and report trends
  • Oversee performance management and compensation programs, including establishing salary levels, management of annual performance and salary review process
  • Manage all benefit programs, working with third party administrators and brokers 
  • Maintain HRIS and ensure HRIS, payroll and third party systems are in sync
  • Maintain all employment records in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Analyze and provide key human resources metrics (to executive team).
  • Recommend and implement employee retention and recognition initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience; HR certification is preferable
  • Minimum of five years progressive HR generalist experience, including professional oversight of staffing and employee relations
  • Knowledge of employment practices, laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices
  • Experience with ADP Human Resources Benefit Solution (HRB) and ADP PayeXpert preferred
