Junior Systems Administrator

We are currently seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to work with our Data Center and Network Operations team in our Dulles, VA office.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing and managing new client setups as well as in-place upgrades and new releases
- Work with vendor to manage the daily operations of our network and infrastructure, including backups, network security, maintenance, monitoring, and tuning
- Manage production network consisting of Windows IIS and SQL servers, Cisco Firewalls, F5 Load Balancers.
- Maintain and support Vovici’s 24x7 production systems
- Work with other areas of the company as necessary, specifically supporting sales, marketing, development, and services
Qualifications:
- Experience managing Windows based web platforms; specifically .NET, IIS and SQL Server
- Experience with DNS, IP and Certificate management
- Strong organizational skills required
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Ability to explain technical specifications to business users in non-technical terms
- Strong attention to detail; excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good time management skills; strong ability to self-manage
- Sense of teamwork and good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- MCP certification
Preferred qualifications:
Education / Experience:
- 3 years of experience supporting IT services
Minimum work experience required/preferred: 3 years
